Version 1.0Effective September 12, 2026

Shotz by KP — Booking & Payment Policy

Agreement to Book Services

Shotz by KP accepts bookings for weddings, portraits, corporate functions, outdoor events, private celebrations, and other photography or videography services.

A booking agreement may be made verbally, by telephone, by text message, by email, or through this website. When the parties agree on the services, price, event date, and payment schedule, their agreement is intended to create binding obligations. A separate signed paper contract is not necessary unless applicable law requires a writing or signature.

These payment terms must be disclosed to the client and accepted as part of the booking. Acceptance may be verbal, written, or electronic where permitted by Mississippi law.

Payment Deadlines

The client agrees to pay the agreed price by the agreed payment deadline. The absence of a separate signed paper contract does not excuse payment under an otherwise enforceable agreement.

A request for additional time does not change the payment deadline unless Shotz by KP agrees to the extension.

Overdue Payments

Amounts properly due and unpaid will accrue simple interest at eight percent (8%) per year, calculated daily on the unpaid principal beginning the day after the agreed due date, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Interest will not compound. Payments will be credited when received, and interest calculations will reflect the remaining unpaid principal. Any lower legally required rate will apply.

Final Delivery

Unless the parties expressly agree otherwise, final photographs, videos, downloads, and other deliverables will be released after payment of the amounts due for those deliverables.

Collection and Legal Proceedings

If payment remains overdue, Shotz by KP may pursue lawful recovery of the unpaid balance and applicable interest. The client agrees to reimburse reasonable attorney's fees and court costs actually incurred in collecting amounts owed, only to the extent enforceable under applicable law and subject to court approval where required.

Proof of Agreement

Relevant communications, booking details, invoices, payment records, and evidence of services performed may be used to establish the agreement and unpaid balance, subject to applicable rules of evidence. No single record is automatically conclusive.

Applicable Law

Mississippi law governs this policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Verbal, phone, and text bookings

You do not have to book online. Bookings agreed by phone, text, email, or in person are welcome and are covered by this same policy.

Studio checklist — for every booking taken off the website

  • Share or read this policy to the client and send them the link: https://shotzbykp.com/booking-payment-policy
  • Confirm the services, price, event date, and payment schedule out loud.
  • Ask for the client's actual acceptance — a clear yes, a reply text, or an email. Note the date, time, and how they accepted.
  • Record the policy version in force (v1.0) with the booking.

Visiting this website is not acceptance. Silence is not acceptance. A client is only bound once they actually agree to these terms.
